Airport to fly into: Juan Santamaria in San José (SJO) . It's like 20 mins from Santa Ana (where we are). If you want to go to Tamarindo, Flamingo, or beaches near the Liberia airport after the wedding, it might be worth flying into San José and then out of Liberia Airport.

You can rent a car before hand from any commercial rent a car (Budget, Alamo, Adobe, etc). It's important to note that rental insurance is required in Costa Rica and gas can be pretty pricey.

There is Uber in Costa Rica, although it isn't allowed to enter the SJO airport. Therefore, upon your arrival, the best thing is to get an airport taxi (the orange ones), which you will find at the SJO airport exit. To get around in San José, Uber can definitely be the best option you have.

Hotels can be an option. Airbnb is always an option too, just make sure it's in Santa Ana or Escazú. Santa Ana is where we live, and Escazú is where the wedding will take place. *You can always double check with us before booking.
